Joan Winifred Fraser June 4, 1934-July 15, 2023 It is with great sadness, the Fraser family announce the passing of, Joan Winifred Fraser, 89, of Cranbury, NJ. after a brief illness, on July 15, 2023, at Penn Medicine Plainsboro. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She is survived behind her husband, Gordon Fraser, 91, of Cranbury, NJ. . Four Children: Gordon Fraser of Myrtle Beach, SC and his wife Laura Fraser. Duncan Fraser of Zebulon, NC and his wife Melodee Fraser, Iain Fraser of Rutherford, NJ and his wife Virginia Fraser. Fiona Fraser of Lowell Massachusetts and her wife Susan Mackesy. Two loving Grandchildren, Duncan and Carlin Fraser, of Zebulon North Carolina. Also survived by many cousins and friends in England. Joan was born on June 4, 1934, and raised by the late Charles and Winifred White in Kenton, England. She moved “across the pond”, in 1963 , after marrying her loving husband Gordon. Joan was an exceptional Executive Administrative Assistant at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where she worked until her retirement. After retiring, Joan and Gordon moved to Cranbury. She belonged to First Presbyterian Church where she was in choir, hand bells and used her beautiful British voice to be a lay reader. Joan also had many friends in Cranbury Crossing and enjoyed game night with the girls. Her life long passion was dancing. Whether dancing for the church, belly dancing or just dancing in the Kitchen. Joan was an avid knitter and donated her hand made sweaters to children in need. She enjoyed swimming, game night with the girls both in Jersey and Cranbury. Joan will be missed by all those who loved her. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
