Craig Elliot Buttcher, 73, of Millstone Township, passed away at his home on 9/25/2023.\n\nCraig was born on July 6, 1950 to Albert Buttcher and Ruth Buttcher (Rabe), in New Brunswick, NJ.\n\nCraig kickstarted his career in auto body in 1977 by opening Craig's Auto Body & Chopper Shop in Monroe Township. He later moved to Millstone Township where he opened his next shop, Highpoint Automotive, which was a community staple for over a decade before he semi-retired in 2005.\n\nCraig was a feisty character with a propensity for collecting all things automotive. Whether it was antique cars, motorcycles or even Hot Wheels, his keen eye always lead him to a new treasure. Craig found joy in the simple things in life, long weekends on his motorcycle, spending time on his farm tending to the animals and tinkering with his "toys" were his greatest pleasures.\n\nCraig was predeceased by his father Albert Buttcher 1980, mother Ruth Buttcher (Rabe) 2020, brother-in-law Charles Quinlan 1991. He is survived by his only child, son, Craig Michael Buttcher, daughter-in-law Nicole Buttcher, grandchildren Tyler, Dylan and Quinn, one great grandson Sawyer, siblings Ruth Ann Fuchsloch, Velma Witkowski, Patricia Quinlan, Michael Buttcher, JoAnn Varga and many nieces and nephews.\n\nA memorial to honor his life will be announced at a later date.
