Carol Johnson Obituary (1954 - 2024)

Carol Johnson’s Obituary Carol Ann Johnson, 69, of Upper Montclair NJ, passed away on June 27, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Carol was born on August 16, 1954 to Aurelia and Edward Johnson in Paterson, NJ. She graduated from Montclair High School and received her bachelor's degree from Montclair University. Carol's career path allowed her to pursue her love of traveling. Carol visited many countries where she loved to learn of different cultures and traditions and allowed her to meet all types of people. Carol would later transition to human resources where again she did what made her happy. She helped others overcome any issues they may have had at work or in their personal lives. Although Carol traveled the world, she never strayed far from her roots. She would always be the big sister to her siblings, Debbie and Billy, and was the favorite aunt to her nephews, Justin and Christopher. Family and friends were always the most important thing to Carol. She was not only close to her family, but forged friendships that started as teens and lasted to her final days. Carol’s death has saddened us all, but her life made us all a little bit happier that she was a part of ours. She will be missed but not forgotten. Good-bye Carol. We love you so.
